On July 16th, 1969, the Apollo 11 lifted off with astronauts Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin. 4 days later Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on the moon! Today, 50 years later, there is a lunar eclipse visible only partially from Europe. However the sky is full of clouds and it is raining. No photos for me this time. I guess I’ll have to wait till 2022…! However last summer on July 27th, 2018, I’ve experienced my first total lunar eclipse. And as you can see I had my camera with me to capture it. I have to admit that it was pretty amazing viewing the moon changing its color during totality and changing from yellow into brown, orange and finally red!
